6 mm carnelian stone strand, round cut

Carnelian is a wonderful gemstone that comes in a wide variety of shades ranging from brown to pink and bright orange. The different forms that make carnelian so interesting as a stone are also beautiful - sometimes it is found in a single color, but striped and dotted stones are also common and quite popular.

Carnelian is probably most popular in its orange to fiery red varieties. With this carnelian stone strand, you therefore have a beautiful coloration that shines beautifully even on closer inspection.

Carnelian gets its beautiful red color from the iron it contains. The more of it, the redder the carnelian stone. However, this wonderful red color can be artificially enhanced by heating - but we prefer it natural and live by the motto "What you see is what you get" - so the carnelian stones you see here are in their natural red color and have not been artificially "enhanced".

The individual carnelian stones have been cut round, but the cut was deliberately not so precise. Each individual stone has a slightly different shape, which gives all pieces of jewelry made with them a wonderful naturalness and a whole new vibrancy.

The carnelian stones also each have their own character - some are striped, some show inclusions, some are completely pure orange. A refreshing mix that is perfect for all artists and jewelry designers who like to create unique and special pieces of jewelry :)
