Not all rose quartz is the same. People often ask themselves why some stones are more expensive than others. Well, there are several factors.

The simplest and most obvious factor: the color intensity. And here we are talking about the color intensity without post-treatment, because of course the color of rose quartz stones can be artificially improved afterwards (which is not the case with these beautiful stones here). The larger the rose quartz stone, the easier it is for the rose quartz stone to build up a certain depth of color, as there is more material. However, if small rose quartz stones also have a beautiful pink color, then this speaks all the more for the quality of the rose quartz stone. Of course, the rule applies here: the better the color at the same size (always in comparison), the more expensive the rose quartz stone.

Another factor is the working time used for the stones. Here we often hear: "But the stones are smaller than the others, so why are they more expensive?" This is an understandable question, which we are happy to explain. The smaller the rose quartz stone on a strand, the more stones can fit on the rose quartz stone strand with the same strand length (usually always around 40 cm). Each rose quartz stone must be drilled. This in turn means that more working time is required for small rose quartz stones on a 40 cm stone strand than for large rose quartz stones on a stone strand of the same length, as many more rose quartz stones can be strung and therefore also need to be drilled.
