Description

It's beautiful and I want it! But... What is it actually?

This silver chain is a so-called pea chain. The pea chain probably owes its name to its individual chain links, which with their oval shape are somewhat reminiscent of small peas. Well, except that they are much prettier, of course... and not so green!

The individual links of this silver necklace are flattened, which gives the necklace an interesting look on the one hand and on the other allows the necklace to reflect much more light, as the light is refracted at many more edges. This makes the pea chain shimmer even more beautifully.

And to make it shimmer even more beautifully, we have additionally silver-plated the pea chain - which is of course made of genuine 925/- sterling silver. Sounds strange, but that's how it is! Why do we do this? You can imagine it a bit like nail polish - of course you can see what color it is after applying the first coat, but the color only becomes really opaque and bright when you paint over it a second time.

It's the same when you silver-plate a silver chain - the silver becomes even more luminous and looks richer!

We have opted for a lobster clasp for this pea chain. This is easy to use and well-known, so you can put on and take off your silver chain in no time at all.

This chain is also ideal as a basic chain for pendants that you may have been hiding in your jewelry cabinet for ages because you don't know which chain to wear them with. Give this one a try! At 55 cm, this Ebs chain has a nice length that is not too tight around the neck, but won't make your pendant disappear into your neckline if you don't want it to!
