Anklet with circle ornament
Originally, anklets were worn to protect against snake bites. Therefore, anklets could be opulent and were usually adorned with numerous bells. But what was intended to deter snakes has now become a really great fashion accessory. Anklets simply make every summer much more beautiful and make every sandal shine in new splendor :)
Normally, we always use a silver alloy for our anklets, which is around 50 - 60 % pure silver, for the sake of stability. Silver is a very soft material and an anklet should be a little more stable. Nevertheless, we have chosen a pure silver content of 90 % for this anklet (almost as high as for sterling silver, where the pure silver content is 92.5 %). We simply compensate for the softness of the silver with a great, solid anklet design.
Contact with sulphur particles in the air also causes real silver to oxidize. This means that the silver turns black. To prevent this from happening, we have also rhodium-plated this great anklet. This involves coating the silver with a layer of rhodium, a precious metal from the platinum family. Rhodium is even more valuable than the silver itself and has the great advantage that it protects the silver from oxidizing.
The chain of the anklet is a sturdy curb chain that is very wide and therefore very durable. As soon as you hold the anklet in your hand, you can feel that you are holding a very valuable piece of jewelry for your feet. The anklet has a pleasant weight and is wonderfully supple on your feet thanks to its solid design.
Numerous small circle ornaments have been individually soldered onto the curb chain, giving the anklet a cheerful filigree look despite its solid design. We have attached three small bells to the clasp. However, we have deliberately made sure that these bells only ring very gently. It is only the silver gently bumping against each other that makes a delicate sound. This means that the anklet can also be worn at the office or in everyday life :)
