It's beautiful and I want it! But... What is it actually?

This beautiful cushion jewelry piece made from genuine 925/- sterling silver is a real gem of detailed craftsmanship.

First, the cast halves of the jewelry piece were lovingly soldered together. Why is it important that the halves of this silver cushion jewelry piece were cast? It's simple: casting uses more material - real 925/- sterling silver - than stamping, for example. On the one hand, this gives you a more stable piece of jewelry and on the other hand, this more stable piece of jewelry is also worth more in the end :)

After both halves were soldered together, all these silver circles were formed by hand from silver wire and also soldered on. The same applies to all the small silver beads that you can see on the jewelry piece.

To perfectly showcase the beautiful ornamental pattern of this silver cushion jewelry piece, the silver was also partially oxidized - in other words, it was deliberately left to tarnish black to create a great contrasting effect.
