Here you can see a very unusual hematite bead. It has not been polished smooth, as is usually the case, but its naturalness and therefore its individual surface structure has been retained even after polishing.

This means that each hematite bead is unique in its own right, each with more or less small indentations and mini craters that make this hematite bead look like a small shiny moon. This is why the hematite bead in this shape is also known as a "galaxy stone".
