The pendant has been delicately matted on both sides and then rhodium-plated. Rhodium-plated silver pendants are not only made from genuine 925/- sterling silver, but are also coated with a layer of rhodium. The rhodium protects the silver from tarnishing and ensures that you don't have to constantly polish the pendant white again.
