Sometimes I think stars and starlets are called that because they actually live somewhere far away from this planet. But sometimes these stars and starlets have really cool ideas - and one of them is admittedly the invention of Ear Climbers (or Ear Jackets, Ear Cuff earrings or whatever they are called).
We were inspired by this trend to create these beautiful pieces - petite Ear Climbers that can be put on just like normal earrings and can be attached to the ear just as easily. In fact, these Ear Cuff earrings were created by first creating the outer wave shape and then inserting a variety of a small silver bead. As often as we liked the size, number and position of the silver beads and then we soldered the whole thing (oh yes, every single bead was soldered separately) and had it cast.
Of course the Ear Cuff Earrings are made of real 925/- Sterling Silver and therefore completely nickel-free. The beautiful relief effect of the Ear Climber was achieved by oxidation, which means that we intentionally made the inner part of the Ear Climber black and then sealed it. This makes the Ear Cuff earrings look even more interesting and detailed.
