It's beautiful and I want it! It's just... What is it?

Brooches make wonderful companions. Brooches adorn every scarf, every coat, every blouse. They are perfect to wear in summer as well as in winter, when every other piece of jewellery is covered by all those clothes :)

This is a beautiful handmade brooch made of real 925/- Sterling Silver. The brooch is set with a variety of small marcasite stones and a large smooth cut gemstone in the middle. You have the choice whether your heart beats for the black onyx stone or the red-brown agate as a highlight stone in its center.

The silver is blackened (what we would usually call "tarnished") and thus intentionally darkened. So in this case there is no need to be afraid that the silver will tarnish with time - here it is intended :) Please pay attention to the small details, like the small marcasite flowers that are threaded around the onyx stone. Each one is unique, just as each gemstone is unique in itself.

So there are actually people in this world (us!) who take the trouble to carefully set every single stone on this precious object and create a small brooch work of art at the end. How wonderful I find it that these people exist :)
