Why does everyone think that since Bambi, the deer is the wife of the stag? Well... Actually, Bambi was once a book. It was about a little fawn called Bambi. When the book was translated into English (yes, it was originally written in German), the fawn suddenly became a little white-tailed deer. Because there are no deer in America. When Bambi sloshed back to Germany with Walt Disney, our young deer Bambi turned into a fawn again. Too bad that Bambi's father remained an American white-tailed deer. And since then we believe that a deer is the wife of a stag. Thanks Walt Disney ;)
But Bambi or not. Here we have a real fawn. And an incredibly cute one at that! Of course the deer earrings are made of real 925 sterling silver. So these earrings are also completely nickel-free and perfectly suitable for delicate children's ears. But of course also adult deer fans are invited to enjoy the fawn earrings :)
The silver earrings belong to a small fawn series, which also includes a lovely ring and a cute pendant. The silver earrings (like all other deer jewellery) are covered with rhodium. Rhodium is a precious metal and belongs to the platinum group. This means that rhodium is really valuable, but also very practical. Because rhodium protects the silver from oxidation. So the silver of the earrings does not turn black and you will have a lot of fun with it!
Our Love Your Diamonds logo is engraved on the back of the little fawn earrings.
