Hippos are not only cute giants, but they also have a secret or two. Or did you know that a hippo can't swim? Even though whales are the closest living relatives of a hippopotamus! And because hippos are so great, we have of course created hippo jewellery!

Here we have the hippo earrings from our collection. These Hippo earrings are made of real 925 Sterling Silver. They are also rhodium plated. Rhodium plated means that they are coated with a layer of rhodium. Rhodium is a precious metal of the platinum family and protects the silver from oxidation. So your silver will always stay bright silver and you save polishing :)

The funny purple colour on the hippo earrings is made of enamel. Enamel has a glassy structure and therefore reflects the light in a very nice way. And enamel has a virtually unlimited shelf life. This means that the enamel does not rub off with time, but stays nice and long on the great silver earrings. So you can simply enjoy your silver earrings!

The plugs of these silver earrings have two small notches each. They are there to give the butterfly clasp more hold. This prevents the butterfly clasp from slipping off the earrings and you don't have to worry about losing your earrings.

On the back you can see our Love Your Diamonds logo. With this we want to show you that these beautiful silver earrings are from a lovingly designed small series. We always put a lot of care into our jewellery and are happy if we can bring a smile to your face :)
