Sometimes I think stars and starlets are called that because they actually live somewhere far away from this planet. But sometimes these stars and starlets do have cool ideas - and one of them is admittedly the invention of ear climbers (or ear jackets, ear cuff earrings or whatever they are called).

We were inspired by this trend to create these beautiful pieces - dainty ear climbers that can be put on just like normal earrings and attached to the ear just as easily. These ear cuff earrings were actually created by first creating the external wave shape and then inserting a large number of small silver beads. We did this until we liked the size, number and position of the silver beads and were then able to have the whole thing soldered (oh yes, each individual bead was soldered separately) and cast.

Of course, the Ear Cuff earrings are made of genuine 925/- sterling silver and are therefore completely nickel-free. We have achieved the beautiful relief effect of the Ear Climbers through oxidation, i.e. we have deliberately allowed the inner part of the Ear Climbers to tarnish black and then sealed them. This makes the Ear Cuff earrings look even more interesting and detailed.
