Here we have a 40 cm wide anchor chain. At 40 cm, this silver chain is ideal for very slim ladies or even as a chain for teenagers. The 40 cm wide anchor chain is wonderful for pendants of all kinds. However, it also stands just as well on its own or forms a beautiful composition with other chains in the layer look.
We have the 40 cm wide anchor chain in four different versions for you. Once as a stylish silver chain, once as a silver chain yellow gold plated, once as a silver chain rose gold plated and once as a rhodium-plated silver chain.
The question surely arises, what is the difference between the silver chain and the rhodium-plated silver chain. We are happy to answer that! In the rhodium-plated 40 cm wide anchor chain, the 925 sterling silver is once again coated with a layer of rhodium. Rhodium is a precious metal of the platinum family and protects the silver from black tarnishing. Sounds great, doesn't it?
Why you should sometimes still order the classic 40 cm wide anchor chain and not the rhodium plated? Because it always depends on the pendant you want to wear with it. Because silver and rhodium have a slightly different silver color. So if the pendant is rhodium plated, the silver chain should be too. If it isn't, it won't :)
The 40 cm wide anchor chain is quadruple diamond plated. Also a word you don't hear that often ;) It means that the links of the silver chain are polished on all sides. This is an extra amount of work that is worth it! Because this way, the 40 cm wide anchor chain shimmers and shines in any incidence of light.
